Extremely well equipped clinic including an in house laboratory. Ultrasound, x-ray, ventilator, ECG, blood pressure monitor, rigid endoscope, ultrasonic dental machine with suction, incubator, drip pump. Designated theatre with gold standard anaesthetic procedures, from the smallest hamster to the largest eagle.
Operations
Our vets operate daily from routine neutering operations to exciting bladder surgery. The ops theatre is always on stand by for any emergency that may be neccesary day or night. Despite the range of facilities on offer at Sundean and the excellent team, some problems require even more specialised attention , therefore we can arrange referrals to one of the many specialists we have close contact with.
Nurse clinics
Our friendly, caring and qualified vet nurses are always available for advice and also offer various clinics such as regular weight checks, geriatric club, dental smile club and puppy parties. Puppies and kittens also come along on a monthly basis for more socialisation and monitoring of possible queries. We can also offer rehabilitation following orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, and to help manage some arthritic patients. We can even take the hassle out of worming your cat !!
Separate species wards
The Clinic has excellent facilities for the variety of patients seen on a daily basis. The cattery is quiet and recovering cats are not distressed by the sight of dogs. The kennels are comfortable with dogs of all sizes catered for. Our isolation unit is totally separate from any of the other units - often used for wildlife and raptors. Exotic pets are also catered for with a wide range of specialised equipment and facilities.
Easily accessible
Positioned on the High Street (opposite Lydney Town Hall) The Sundean logo can be seen from every direction upon entering the town - large easily accessed carpark to the rear of the Clinic enabling disabled access for those clients needing it, as well as allowing patients with poor mobility to avoid the front entrance steps. We are exclusively small animal with a 24 hour service.
