We are pleased to confirm that Woods Veterinary Hospital in Quedgeley, will continue to provide our emergency out of hours cover. As a Registered Veterinary Hospital they have a Vet and Nurse on the premises awake and working 24 hours a day providing round the clock care. They liaise closely at all stages of the treatment in order to provide continuity once the patient has returned to our care. Our clients that have needed to use the service whilst it has been trialled have been delighted with the care their pets have recieved, with costs that match our own.
All out of hours calls will continue to be answered by Teresa. She is highly experienced and well qualified to help with the 95 % of all emergency calls at the weekend that only require telephone advice. The very small minority that need to be seen by a vet will be directed by Teresa up to Woods Vets in Quedgley Gloucester. This 30-40 minute journey will result in being able to see a vet as quickly as it currently takes a vet to attend the practice in Lydney. We have maps in the practice please ask for one next time you visit us.
Please rest assured you and your pets care and welfare remain our primary concern. The decisions we have made have been taken in order to enable us to continue providing our excellent care in the present economic climate. If you have any concerns however please ring and make a mutually convenient appointment with Teresa or Beth.
Assuring you of our best attention at all times,
Beth Keyte
